A Cake Smash Photoshoot is a playful, colourful and joy-filled way to mark the occasion, creating a set of photographs you’ll look back on forever. My studio in Spinners Mill, Leigh (close to Wigan, Atherton and Manchester) is fully set up for the complete 1st birthday experience.
Before the cake comes out, I take beautiful portrait images of your little one. These are timeless, smiley, and show off their personality at this very precious age.
Then… we bring out the cake!
This is where the fun really starts. Whether they poke it gently or go all-in face-first, the laughs and expressions are priceless. Every reaction is captured naturally — no forced posing, just play.
After the cake smash, we have time to clean up, change outfits, and take a few relaxed final shots so you have a complete set of images from the session.
