Dancer & Model Headshots & Portraits

I produce dancers and model headshots & portraits to get you noticed. Portfolio images are rather specialist. Having spent years photographing entertainers, models and dancers I am more than qualified to put you an exceptional portfolio together.

Dancers Headshots & Portrait Photography

I have been delivering high quality images for the entertainment sector for years.

Dancer headshots need to make you stand out in a busy market where many people are chasing the same job.

I have an excellent studio with private dressing room and make-up facilities. Excellent for headshots. I can also use the studio for portfolio shots or we can hire a bigger studio or meet you on set if you want specialist shots such as ariel, pole of fire.

Everyone’s requirements are so different, planning and discussing is key. Let me know what you’re thinking and together we can make a plan.

My dancer headshot and portrait images are suitable for:

  • Dance Agency
  • Spotlight & similar
  • Social Media
  • Your own website
  • Potential employers

Models Headshots & Portrait Photography

I can cater for the straight forward look and the more creative.

Model headshots need to make you stand out in a busy market where many people are chasing the same job.

However, given that most casting directors have access to the best make-up artists, a plain face shot showing your ‘blank canvas’ may be all it takes to get you that dream assignment.

What should I wear for my photoshoot?

There are no rules, so create your own style!

For headshots please refer to my Headshot FAQ page.

For dancers and models, full body shots are more important.

Your choice of clothes should flatter your body shape and sometimes less is more.

For dancers, leotards are normal, shorts and vests can give an edgy look, cut off jeans or street wear can have the same effect. Bright colours are often favourable to pastels but much will depend on your skin tone. Black and white should always be brought as an option.

Male dancers can consider a bare back top. Female dancers can mix and match dancewear with street wear such as a shirt over a leotard. Remember, if your curves are in the right places, show them off, casting directors are interested in your body shape too.

As for footwear, mix it up from dance shoes to boots and barefeet. There are no rules, so create your own style.
