A Warm Welcome to the Studio

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted personally by me. My studio is calm, clean, and set up specifically for precision eye photography. Whether you’re coming alone, as a couple, or as a family, I make sure everyone feels comfortable straight away. There’s no rush and no pressure — this is very much a one-to-one experience.

A Professional Photographer Guiding You Throughout

I carry out every iris photography session myself. I’ll explain exactly how the process works, answer any questions you have, and guide you step by step. Iris photography looks complex, but for you it’s very simple — you’re never left guessing what to do or how long anything will take.

A Preliminary Chat & Viewing the Iris Sample Book

Before we photograph anything, we’ll have a short chat about what you’re looking for. I’ll show you my iris sample book, which includes a range of finishes and display options. This gives you a real feel for how your final artwork could look on the wall — from clean, minimalist styles to bold statement pieces.

This is also the point where I’ll talk you through individual images versus combined designs (popular for couples or families), as well as any optional effects you might like.

A Short, Private Iris Photography Session

The photography itself is quick and completely private. Each person is photographed individually, and the process only takes a few minutes per eye. There’s no physical contact, no discomfort, and no bright flashes — just a calm, controlled setup designed specifically for eye safety and detail.

Because the session is short, it’s ideal for children, teenagers, and anyone who might feel nervous. I work efficiently while maintaining absolute precision, as capturing the fine detail of the iris is where experience really matters.

How Long Does an Iris Photography Session Take?

For two people, the entire iris photography session lasts approximately 30 minutes from start to finish. This includes:

  • your welcome and initial chat
  • time to view the iris sample book and discuss finishes
  • the photography itself
  • answering any final questions before you leave

Because the process is efficient and well-structured, there’s no waiting around, yet everything still feels unhurried. It’s ideal if you’re fitting the session into a busy day, while still receiving a fully professional, personalised experience.

After Your Session

Once your images are captured, I carefully edit them by hand to bring out the incredible detail, colour, and texture unique to your eyes. You’ll then be able to choose how you’d like your artwork finished, whether that’s as a striking wall piece or a more subtle display.

If you’re considering iris photography and want a professional, relaxed experience from start to finish, my studio offers exactly that — personal, precise, and designed around you.
